Sustain IT Budget Survival in Uncertain Times
Description:
As we emerge from the pandemic, organizations must reset and respond to our new way of working. During the pandemic, some companies have implemented business continuity plans, and others have had to scramble to “make it work.” Either way, workers adopted and adapted to technology tools more broadly than ever before. Video conferencing and collaboration tools, once reserved for elaborate conference rooms, are now at most workers’ fingertips. Most cloud providers are offering “freemium” or low-cost solutions that are easy to use and deploy, which has accelerated the transition faster than the traditional IT solution rollout. With an economic downturn threatening and more demands on the IT budget, IT staff must find ways to fund projects. This session will offer some concrete actions that IT managers can take today to make their budgets go further.
