Top 10 Unified Communications Events in the US in 2023

The US unified communications market is valued at over $94 billion and growing. So finding yourself at the right conference with the latest tech, the best vendors, and peer-level connections is important to stay up to date.

Whether you attend unified communications events for the speakers, the vendors, or the free swag, we’ve rounded up 10 of the best for you to attend in 2023.

1 - UCX USA

When: September 13-14, 2023

Where: The Fairmont, Austin

Link: https://www.ucxusa.com/

Following years of success in London, England, UC Expo is coming to Austin in September 2023.

As well as taking what we’ve learned from hosting Europe’s biggest unified communications event, we’re making sure UCX USA sets the standard for the future.

Yes, there will be leading vendors showcasing their latest technology. Yes, you can get hands-on demos and good coffee.

But where we’re applying the most focus is being connections-first.

That means we’re pairing up vendors with buyers, IT managers with other IT managers, and analysts with CIOs.

If you’ve got a burning question for one of our speakers, we’re giving you the platform to do so.

Literally.

UCX USA provides a platform for branded manufacturers, business leaders, startups, tech companies, investors, media and analysts to learn, network, collaborate, and evolve.

UCX USA will bring together companies, customers, and decision-makers for peer-to-peer networking and intimate connections-based events.

And we can’t wait.

What was formerly known as TechEd back in the day, is now one of the largest technology conferences on the planet.

Microsoft Ignite covers all parts of the Microsoft stack, including collaboration and AI but also things like Xbox and Azure.

Make sure you plan your agenda carefully to take in the right unified communications sessions at the right time. There’s a lot to take in and it’s easy to get lost!

Satya Nadella’s opening keynote is never one to be missed and usually includes all the major Microsoft announcements. But there’s real value in the smaller breakout sessions dotted around the venue.

Gartner doesn’t just produce the unified comms magic quadrant, it also puts on a conference designed to “address the most significant challenges faced by CIOs and IT executives”.

With editions in Europe and the US, this version focuses on the latest technology trends and innovations specific to the US market.

Tailored to the C-suite, this event is best suited for those tasked with leading digital change rather than those who get hands-on. It also covers a wide range of ICT technology from desktop and collaboration IoT and sensors.

Last year, Zoom announced one of the biggest moves in its history: a unified mailbox and calendar built into the Zoom chat and meetings interface. So it’s safe to say Zoom holds back its biggest announcements for its own conference.

With the extremely likable Eric Yuan playing the roles of CEO, keynote speaker, and host to celebrities like Timbaland, expect insights from all sorts of industries as well as the latest news and case studies at Zoom.

As there are limited seats available for the in-person event, Zoomtopia is a hybrid event hosted on its own Zoom Events platform. Online attendees get the next best experience to being in the room.

Be it a new CPaaS platform or an integration middleware for existing apps, Enterprise Connect features some of the biggest names across the unified communications realm.

In recent years, there’s been a major focus on contact center and customer experience. As the state of the economy remains uncertain, it’s sure to remain a key theme as businesses must look after their existing customer base to remain relevant.

As you might have guessed, Webex One is all about Cisco’s leading collaboration platform. Attendees go to discover new cases, learn about new technology (and some older but hidden gems), and you just know there’s going to be a major announcement.

Like Zoom, Cisco uses its own platform to create a hybrid event so online attendees get free access to the in-person sessions too.

Whether you’re an engineer tasked with stabilizing your platform or an analyst interested in more front-end content, you should find what you’re looking for at AWS reInvent.

The big sell at AWS events is always to hear from leadership from the technology and commerce giant. If you secure a $1,799 pass, you guarantee access to the keynotes and leadership talks.
